Cotton Poplin Shirting 60s

A fine-count poplin woven from 60s combed cotton yarns, made for shirt programs where surface smoothness and drape decide the sale. The tight plain weave produces the crisp, even face that dress shirts require, with enough body to hold a collar and cuff cleanly through a full day of wear.

Mercerizing deepens dye uptake and adds a subtle luster that reads as premium in finished garment audits. The sanforized finish keeps residual shrinkage within standard shirt-manufacturing tolerances, so patterns cut true and finished shirts hold their fit after home laundering.

Available in bleached white, piece-dyed solids, and greige for buyers running their own processing. Yarn-dyed stripes and checks available on order.

Typical applications: Men’s dress shirts, formal and semi-formal shirts, premium casual shirts, export shirt programs.

Cotton Oxford Shirting

A traditional oxford construction pairing a finer warp with a heavier weft to create the basket-weave texture that defines the category. The result is a shirting with visible character and more substance than a poplin, suited to button-down collars and casual silhouettes.

The peached finish raises a fine surface nap that softens the hand without disturbing the weave structure, giving the fabric a broken-in feel straight off the roll. Sanforizing keeps shrinkage predictable through cutting and repeated washing.

At 125 to 140 GSM this oxford wears comfortably across seasons and takes both piece-dyed solids and classic yarn-dyed oxford melange effects.

Typical applications: Button-down casual shirts, smart casual shirts, uniform shirts with a softer hand, weekend wear.

Cotton Dobby Shirting 50s

Dobby weaving builds the pattern into the fabric itself: fine geometric textures, dot and diamond motifs, and self-stripes that catch light differently across the shirt front. For brands looking to differentiate beyond plain poplins and printed fabrics, dobby shirting delivers visible quality at the fabric level.

Woven on 50s combed cotton yarns, the base cloth keeps the smooth hand and drape of a fine shirting while the dobby structure adds dimension. Mercerizing sharpens the pattern definition and improves dye depth on piece-dyed lots.

A rotating library of dobby designs is available; buyers can select from running designs or develop exclusive patterns on minimum order quantities.

Typical applications: Dress shirts, occasion and festive shirts, premium casual lines, fashion shirting programs.
